A slide show, called a carousel, usually placed at the top of a website in order to present the most interesting offers and products and to make the website more attractive.

 

A slider, also known as a carousel, is a fairly common form of a web banner that can be found on all kinds of websites. It works by showing slideshows containing promotional content, information about specific products and CTR buttons, encouraging consumers to take specific actions on the site. It allows the user to get acquainted with various types of information, as well as to place more content on the website.

 

The use of a slider, however, also has several disadvantages, which before the so-called A carousel on your website is worth considering. First, quite often the speed of changing slides is so high that the recipient does not have time to read them thoroughly, and as a result, they simply bypass the slider and go to other content on the page. Additionally, due to too many slides, the presence of a carousel on the website may slow down its loading, which is a big mistake that should be categorically avoided. No user likes to wait for a website to load, and when it takes too long, they simply quit visiting it.

 

A properly designed slider can be a perfect form of making a website more attractive, and a properly designed one can significantly increase the level of activity undertaken by users on the website.
