Footer
A website element, also known as a footer, at the bottom of a website, including, inter alia, company contact details, links to company profiles on social media or information regarding copyright.
Each website consists of basic elements such as menu, contact details, search engine, company logo and name, as well as call-to-action buttons and an information footer. This is an element needed not so much by website visitors, but by robots responsible for its positioning.
Usually, the information footer contains details such as:
-
company contact details - e-mail address, contact telephone number
-
site map - important for good website positioning
-
social media links - placed at the top of the website will cause the visitor to leave it before reading the content below
-
the option to subscribe to the newsletter - this will allow you to expand the database
-
regulations of the privacy policy - information about, among others, the data is collected by the website owner
-
CTA buttons - buttons encouraging, for example, to purchase goods or contact the company
-
logo - for its additional preservation in the mind of the recipient
It is important when designing a website to adjust the size of the information footer to the entire size of the page and the content posted on it is consistent with the entire creation of the website. With proper planning and placing all the necessary information in it, it can be an additional tool to increase the activity on the website and its better positioning in the search engine.
