Exclusive distribution

The form of distribution, also known as exclusive, consists in narrowing the number of points of sale where our products will be offered to one or more outlets.

Distribution is a variety of activities that, if properly coordinated, will ultimately lead to the delivery of a specific product to a potential buyer.

There are 3 types of distribution:

Exclusive distribution usually refers to products perceived as luxurious and of high quality by the public. Accordingly, the prospective buyer is able to take more actions and efforts on his part to acquire the goods in question. Articles distributed in an exclusive way are, among others cars, high-quality watches and jewelry.

An entrepreneur offering exclusive goods on the market may limit their sale to only one point of sale, or possibly to a specific network of such points. This is a factor that allows, for example, a constant control of the level of customer service, or easier management of stocks of goods that do not need to be stored in such quantity as in the case of intensive and even selective distribution.
